Whether you are packing the kids in the car to head off camping or hunkering down for a weekend full of event management, one of the first things you’ll need to do is to make sure that you’ve entered your public holiday into Alloc8. This will ensure that anyone working the holiday is paid at the correct rate, and that your clients are billed correctly as well.
To set up your holidays, you’ll need to go into Administration, and Public Holidays, then click ‘Add Public Holiday’
From here, name your holiday, and then select the branches it applies to. If the holiday only applies to certain areas, ie. your capital city observes the holiday but the regions don’t, select the Divisions that observe the holiday and not the Branch. If it’s a national holiday you’ll still need to select at least one branch and then tick the ‘National Holiday’ branch.
All that’s left to do is add the date and click save.
